Tiliva Resort is set in 18 acres of lush tropical gardens with six deluxe bures nestled in the trees for privacy. All are just yards from the resort’s own white sandy beach.
From Tiliva Resort you can experience the breathtaking corals and ocean life of the awe-inspiring Astrolabe and Solo Reefs, one of the natural wonders of the world. Diving in the crystal clear waters is spectacular with brillantly coloured hard and soft corals, drift dives and swim throughs - an experience not to be missed. The resort is ten minutes away from the Astrolable Reef and Waisomo Reserve. For bird watchers we have a hike through the rain forest, see the Kadavu Parrot, Kadavu Fantail and Whilsting Dove amongst some of the birds on the island.
Location
Tiliva Resort is on the island of Kadavu with daily flights from Nadi International Airport and Suva (Nausori Airport). It is widely acknowledged as one of Fiji’s unspoilt islands, it has lush rainforests, no roads, exotic wildlife including the famed Kadavu Shining Parrot, Kadavu Fantial and Kadavu Honeyeater. It is adjacent to the village of Tiliva where you can meet the villagers, sample a bowl of kava, visit the primary school and partake in village cultural events.
Accommodation
The guest accommodation is self contained chalets (bures in Fijian) having typical high ceilings with full en-suite facilities, tiled throughout, ceiling fans and private verandas. All have 24 hour electricity which runs on an inverter system so it is eco friendly. These are only yards from the resort’s white sandy beach with magnificent views across the bay to the island of Ono. The bures are serviced on a daily basis.
Dining & Entertainment
In the evening the guests can relax over a sundowner and can choose a candlelit dinner on the restaurant veranda or dine in the main building. Enjoy the fresh fruit and vegetables organically grown on the resort. With fresh fish, fresh vegetables and herbs we offer the best of Fijian and western cuisine. Guests can also watch their meals being cooked in traditional underground ovens (lovo).
All drinking water is from the local spring and it is safe to drink.
Meals are fully included in the cost of your stay. There is also a well stocked bar with cold beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
Guests can visit the local village to sample a bowl of kava and ejoy the true flavour of Kadavu
Activities
Activities include Diving, Snorkelling, Kayaking, Sport Fishing, Trekking, Bird watching, Village Visits, Boat trips and Beach Picnics. Guided tour of the indigenous plants and trees, trips to the waterfall through the lush rainforest from where the Kadavu Shining Parrot can be seen.
Books, board games and cards are available for the use of guests.
Weddings
We can organise your wedding - either International or Traditional Fijian.
NOTE: The Marriage is legal worldwide, both passports and birth certificates are required for marriage and licence. Divorce papers are required if previously married. No minimum stay is required.
Diving
All prices are in Fijian Dollars. Course prices include all manuals, dive equipment and boat dives. Dive prices include FJ$5/dive fee to Naigoro Passage, given to local villagers to protect the area from fishing and misuse. Due to the increase in fuel there is a FJ$5 fuel surcharge on every tank used. i.e. 2 tank dive now FJ$180.
DIVING: Two tank dive: FJ$170; Six tank dive: FJ$480; Ten tank dive: F$750.
DIVE COURSES: PADI Discover Scuba Diving: FJ$165; PADI Open Water: FJ$650; PADI Advanced Diver: FJ$495

Tiliva Resort with its six bures can be booked exclusively for your party. Price available on request.
Payment Policies
We accept Master Cards, Visa Cards and cash. There are no banks on Kadavu.
Deposits
A deposit of two night’s accommodation is requested to confirm booking. Balance can be paid prior to departure.
Cancellations and Refunds
Can re-book up to one year - no refund for no shows and premature departure.
